Old Hobbits Die Hard

See the source imageI know this is Martin Freeman from The Hobbit, but I thought it was funny and it still applies to the Lord of the Rings. This shows the true toughness of Hobbits even though they aren't the best fighters they have tough feet.

Spirits and Fairies

In the wedding between Ferdinand and Miranda, Prospero calls Ariel to summons spirits. Three spirits appear; Iris, Juno, and Ceres. These beings end up blessing the happy couple. This immediately made me think of the three fairies in Sleeping Beauty. They also gave gifts to Aurora, like beauty, musical talent, and for true loves kiss to break Maleficent's curse.

I thought Faustus wanted to be emperor not mess with people

can't keep my hands to myself

See the source imageBefore summoning Alexander the Great, Faustus warns the emperor to not touch him since they're immaterial spirits. After being summoned, Alexander the Great kills some dude and salutes the emperor. The Emperor was so amazed by the summoning, he attempts to touch Alexander even though Faustus told him not to and that it could cause him great harm. Sorta like Nemo when he didn't realize the dangers of touching the butt.

Yo The Lord's Wife is Trying to Seduce Our Mans

Pardon the title, I wanted it to be catching. But through out most of the 3rd fitt, I was overwhelmed by how much the Lord's wife was trying to seduce Sir Gawain while her husband was away. Honestly, I really was under the impression that cheating was very much so frowned upon during this time as much as it still is still today.  But the Lord's wife seems to think otherwise. Since this is very prevalent in this section of the poem, I thought that a meme would suffice how the Lord's wife is feeling/acting. I hope you find this as fitting as I did.
